The Seattle Storm cleared up some cap space on Wednesday, sending guard Kia Nurse and the No. 4 pick in this year’s WNBA draft to the Los Angeles Sparks in return for a 2026 first-round pick.

Seattle has been in the mix for a number of big free agency signings, including players like Nneka Ogwumike and Skylar Diggins-Smith. Ogwumike announced in January that she would leave the Sparks after 11 seasons, and Seattle is among the teams on her list. #women
