The Concacaf W Gold Cup group stage came to a close on Wednesday as Canada beat Costa Rica 3-0 and Paraguay beat El Salvador 3-2.
Paraguay’s win over El Salvador pushed them past Costa Rica for second place in Group C.
There were some late dramatics, as El Salvador went up 2-1 in the 83rd minute before a penalty and stoppage time goal from Jessica Martínez to secure a hat trick gave Paraguay the win.
Canada, meanwhile, earned the top overall seed in the knockout rounds with their win.
